An experienced personal trainer and studio owner. My motivation is to encourage women to take charge of their health and fitness by building a healthy lifestyle to take into their 50’s, 60’s and beyond! With an overloaded health system, by helping others to re-evaluate how to look at their own health and to take charge of their health by moving their body more and to discover how to fit it to their life is a passion of mine.
My own first foray into the fitness world was as a Group Fitness Instructor in the 90’s and as a bodybuilder. Fast Forward a few years, I made the decision to return to the fitness industry as a PT after going back to training myself and returning to bodybuilding competition and judging. While I still love body building training, I realised the limitations that style of training had on my body. Which led me to search for alternate training methods, which founded a passion for functional training, combining a love of kettlebells, barbells, body weight and other functional training apparatus with what it can do for my clients to build strong, healthy bodies that serve them well in their day to day lives.
I have a Cert III & IV in Fitness, as well as Cert IV in Nutrition (Sports Nutrition) and Cert IV Nutrition (Health & Wellness Coaching). I have undertaken further specialty training to allow me to best serve my client base as a Functional Trainer, Functional Aging Specialist, Women’s health including Menopause and Pre & Post Natal and Mobility and Corrective Exercise. If you mentor with me, you will have access to our studio which delivers a more personalised experience through small group training, semi-private and private Personal Training.
